| Personal
- I am married to the world's most wonderful husband! He is my other half in all I do. Ford is the night manager at the Hy-Vee store in Independence and also holds his Real Estate license so he can help me out when I get busy. Everyone loves Ford; he is a real "people" person.
- I have 4 wonderful kids: Kylee and her husband Jeff, Keith, and Kara. I am very proud of my kids who amaze me with who they have become, their responsible jobs, and their involvement in the church. They are my true blessing. Kylee and Keith are graduates of MU, Jeff is a graduate of MS&T, and Kara currently attends UMKC. Kylee and Jeff will be giving me my first grandchild in July 2010.
- In my spare time I enjoy family get-togethers with my parents and sister who live nearby, my beautiful and blind Australian Shepherd, Alby, our lively Border Collie, Zoe, home decorating, working out at the gym, reading, and trying new recipes.
- I donate part of each commission to The United Way. I believe it is important to give back to the community. My husband and I are regular blood donors.
